In July, Kenneth Enlow was arrested after he was caught spying on a mother and her 7-year-old daughter from inside a public restroom's septic tank in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Last Thursday, the 54-year-old pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of peeping Tom and was sentenced to one year in jail plus a $5,000 fine.
Tulsa County sheriff's deputies arrested Enlow after the woman and her young daughter noticed something moving in the water beneath their public toilet at White Water Park; when the woman looked closer, she saw Enlow looking up at her from inside the toilet.
The outhouse-style bathroom has a concrete floor that separates the toilet from the waste-filled pit below, the sheriff's report said. The suspect was peering up from beneath the plastic toilet seat and "covered in feces", the report said.
"He went in there, climbed down in the septic and was looking up at the people utilizing that facility," Tulsa County Sheriff's Maj. Shannon Clark says.
With the help of the Keystone Fire Department, the sheriff's department extracted Enlow, who was "covered with human waste," and took him to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
Deputies say the 6-foot tall, 240-pound voyeur claimed his girlfriend "Angel" knocked him out with a tire iron and threw him into the tank.
Enlow also had outstanding warrants for embezzlement and illegal trash dumping, and has previously been arrested for public intoxication and driving with a suspended license.
