NSCDC arrests 3 suspects for alleged house break in Jigawa

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa on Saturday said it had arrested three suspects for allegedly breaking into a house and stealing wrappers and money.

The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the suspects were arrested on Friday in Gagarawa Local Government Area.

Gidado said that the suspects were arrested after they broke into Hajiya Hubabatu’s residence and stole wrappers worth N115,000 and N51,000 cash.

He added that the suspects also stole three measures of rice.

The commandant explained that the suspects were arrested after receiving complaint from the victim.

According to him, the suspects have made useful statements and will soon be charged to court.
