Sporting Lisbon ready to snatch Iheanacho

The last may not have been heard on the supposed movement to Europe of Golden Eaglet star, Kelechi Iheanacho as latest reports have linked the hugely talented player with Portuguese giants, Sporting Lisbon.
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Porto who were originally Iheanacho’s preferred choice, may miss out on the signature of Kelechi Iheanacho after rivals Sporting Lisbon slapped in a bid of around 300,000 euros for the Nigeria youth – international.
This is not paper talk as there has been contact between representatives of Sporting Lisbon and Taye Academy, agents of Kelechi Iheanacho.
The offer from Sporting Lisbon is more tempting as it is in excess of the 250,000 euros being offered by Porto.
It is understood that Sporting Lisbon have received assurances from Taye Academy and the capital club now want to thrash out personal terms with James Iheancho, Kelechi’s dad as well as Henry Galeano, the midfielder’s personal agent.
If an agreement is reached by all the parties, Kelechi Iheanacho will append his signature on a four – year contract and his dad will be rewarded with the sum of 300,000 euros.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, PAOK, Monaco and Udinese had all previously expressed interest in signing him.
