OUTRAGE: “2013 Almost Over, Where Is Our Money, Governor Mimiko?!” – NYSC members

Social and mass media, as it turns out, have many negative aspects. However, their primary and main principles are connecting people, conveying information and providing the voiceless with the right to speak up. We are glad to be the platform through which you, our cherished readers, can deliver your message to masses.

Today, we would like to draw your attention to the message sent to our Facebook inbox by a reader who prefers to stay anonymous. They decry non-payment of allowance to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko. We hope that this information will be noticed, and appropriate measures taken! Read the full text below:

Governor Mimiko owes all Corp members, who passed out in 2013, state allowance (namely, 12A, 12B and 12C). Normally, the Government pays those who serve in Government parastatals, but he refuses to pay. There are no means of contacting him. And we shouldn’t be cheated! 2013 ends in just TWO days’ time, what do we do?

We thank our reader for the message, and ask: CAN BE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM?
