A senior teacher who had unprotected sex with a 16-year-old pupil while she was also 'dogging' with strangers has been jailed for 14 months, UK.
Janette Kilner, 33, was deputy head of drama when she began a relationship with her teenage lover after he bought her a Christmas card and a bracelet last year.
Kilner had sex with him after collecting him from outside St Thomas the Apostle College in Nunhead and taking him back to her home.
At the time of their relationship, between May and July, Kilner was also dogging with men and women in car parks.
Judge Hughes sentencing, said: "This is a tragic case. Clearly this is an offence of a serious breach of trust as you were his teacher and therefore you are the one responsible.
It must be noted that the boy was a willing participant but that does not excuse the behaviour because you were a teacher at his school.
You are now barred from teaching children or vulnerable adults but you can apply to be taken off this list in the future."
Judge Hughes sentenced Kilner to serve 14 months jail as her family looked on from the public gallery.
Prosecutor said Kilner had taught the boy during his final year at the school in south London. "He said in interview he had feelings for her and he sent her a Christmas card and a bracelet.
It was during 2013 that their relationship developed beyond a teacher-pupil relationship and it did so gradually."
"First it was with him among other children on a Saturday when they began to talk to each other and they became more and more personal.
They exchanged private email addresses and phone numbers in and around June 2013 and they began sending each other text messages plainly and clearly sexual in nature.
She made arrangements to pick him up and it was all improper behaviour during these car journeys.
Matters progressed to kissing as they would drive around the neighbourhood."
On 10 July the defendant picked up the victim by a park and drove him to her house where they began to kiss - she then helps him remove his trousers as they are watching television.
"She wanted him to go upstairs and he at first said no because he didn't have a condom but eventually they do go upstairs and have full intercourse.
She then drove him back to Surrey Quays. She was also meeting unknown men and women in car parks for sex during this time."
The relationship came to light when the boy told two of his friends who reported the incident to another teacher at the school who got social services and the police involved.
Kilner was arrested on July 27 and suspended from working at the school. She made full admissions in police interview but made it clear then and again in court that the boy was never coerced in to anything by her.
Rebecca Blain, defending, said: "She made it clear there was no coercion - she does not have an attraction to children as this was a specific offence and that is made clear in the pre-sentence report."
Kilner of Dagenham, Essex, pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual activity with a child by an adult in a position of trust.
