Members of the two chambers of the National Assembly on Thursday unfolded a programme aimed at seeking spiritual solutions to the myriad of social, economic and political crises confronting Nigeria.
The programme tagged, National Prayer Breakfast, and had as its theme, ‘God in the Lives of National Leaders for Development’ is also to be used as a weapon to end the security challenges confronting the North Eastern part of the country since the last three years.
The spiritual exercise billed for the 24th of the month, according to the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Ita Enang, iss a solution to Nigeria‘s multifaceted problems.
Enang, who is the chairman of the programme’s publicity committee, told journalists at a news conference that the annual event was being organised by the National Assembly to bring together Nigerians of all faith, tribe and creed to seek the face of God for divine solutions to the nation’s problems.
The Senator said Rev. John Enelamoh would give the keynote address on pulling down all walls and vices blocking the growth of the nation in the right direction.
