The Federal Government, Tuesday, unveiled Community Support Brigade, CSB, to replace the rested War Against Indiscipline, WAI, in its effort to restore national consciousness towards eradicating indiscipline from the society.
Vanguard gathered that CSB will form part of the “Do the Right Thing: Transform Nigeria campaign, being championed by the National Orientation Agency, NOA.
Unveiling the brigade in Abuja, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, said the launching was part of government’s efforts to fight indiscipline in a civilised way, with the sole aim of securing the citizens’ support towards government policies.
He maintained that virtues of doggedness, patriotism and determination were gradually fading away in Nigeria owing to bad leadership and stressed the need to bring back sanity into the society by re-orientating Nigerians towards developing socially desirable attitudes.
