Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday arraigned three pastors –Mrs. Ruth Abbah, Mrs Deborah Jefferey and Mr. Shedrack Ajadi- for allegedly obstructing the operatives of the commission from performing their lawful duty.
The trio were arraigned alongside Imomotimi Bowei on a two counts before Justice Lambo Akanbi of the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt.
According to a statement by the EFCC Acting Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, the suspects were arrested on October 8, at Warrior of Christ International Church, Off Odili Road, Port Harcourt.
The suspects allegedly obstructed security operatives of the commission in the course of inviting one Rev. John Richard, who was alleged to be involved in a case of obtaining money by false pretences.
They pleaded not guilty to the charge.
