Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr Joseph Mbu who will likely proceed on his leave from Rivers State on Thursday as CP according to our source has begun to make frantic efforts to top presidential aides to prevail on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to stop his redeployment from the state.

READ: Rivers Police Commissioner, Joseph Mbu Removed

report by Abusidiqu.com detailing how the  According to our ever reliable presidential source, President Goodluck Jonathan has agreed to mend fences with some of his political opponents and has agreed to sink CP Mbu for peace to reign.

The source noted that Mr Jonathan has been having a running secret battle with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal on how to make his budget sail through, but the Speaker reportedly told him that he spited the house by not removing Mbu as demanded by them, and until it is done; he will align with the All Progressive Congress (APC) to frustrate the presidency.

We gathered that Mbu has sent messages to his paymaster, Nyesom Wike to help him in begging the IGP and Mr Jonathan to reconsider his position of removing him and sending him to be a lecturer in Police College or NIPPS, as was done to Nuhu Ribadu.

The source noted that the presidency is currently under pressure to halt the move before Thursday.
