President Goodluck Jonathan is not losing sleep is not losing sleep over the current crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a source close to the presidency who preferred not to be named said yesterday.
Speaking to some journalists in Abuja, the politician disclosed that President Jonathan, who was acquainted with security reports on the crisis, lost his anger during the meeting with PDP governors at the presidential villa on Tuesday and told them, “We will not lose sleep. Those who ignited the fire should go and quench it.”
The politician said he believed what is happening in the PDP has nothing to do with the president. He pointed accusing finger on a former president whom he said was behind the problem, but pretended to be finding solution.
“It is good that the current happenings are unfolding at this time; we now know those who are doing what, those who have been hiding their faces while creating problems - including security crises for the government; the government is studying the situation and will respond at the appropriate time,” he said.
