An Ukrainian couple who could not control their passion for each other ended up in tragedy after they stopped on their way home to have sex on the train tracks and were hit by a train.
The '30-something' woman was killed by the train in the city of Zaporozhye on Saturday morning while her 41-year-old male companion lost both legs, but survived to tell the tale.
The couple 'failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home.'
The pair, officials said, 'wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.'
The extreme sensation they experienced happened to be a switcher locomotive, and they could not escape in time, according to reports.
There are reports that they couple were drunk at the time and were returning home from a party at a friend's house when they decided to stop on the tracks.
