Killing of Civilians by Boko Haram: DHQ to fish out perpetrators

The Defence headquarters Tuesday vowed that killers of 22 civilian vigilante members otherwise known as ‘civilian JTF’ last weekend in Borno State,  will know no sleep until special forces deployed to flush out Boko Haram terrorists catch up with them.
Towards this end, DHQ said more troops and equipment are being deployed into the operation to ensure better coverage and protection of communities in the operational area.
A statement signed by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Chris Olukolade on the update of the State of Emergency reads,  “A large scale shooting and murder by terrorists of over 22 and infliction of varying degree of injuries on over 18 members of Borno Youth Vigilance Group in Dawashi and Mainok in Borno State last Saturday has been reported”.
