NIKE WILLING TO GO TO £1 BILLION TO SECURE MAN UTD KIT DEAL





Nike are keeping their powder dry for a fresh run at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says Puma agreeing a £30m-a-year deal over five years to be Arsenal’s new kit sponsors from the start of the 2014-15 season makes it even more likely that Nike, who did not want to renew at that price, are saving up for their next blockbuster Manchester United contract.

The Nike deal could be worth a staggering £1bn to United if the length of contract is similar or more than the current 13–year agreement, which expires in 2015.
