Mimiko not defecting, says LP

    
The National Chairman of Labour Party, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, has dismissed the insinuations in some quarters that the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko will soon defect from the Labour Party to the Peoples Democratic Party.

He said those making the insinuations were either agents of the PDP or the All Progressive Congress.

He said, “We are not defecting. We are not merging and we are going to show that we are the only progressive  party; we are not leaving the party.”
