Renown armed robber hunter, Ali Kwara and the Inspector General of Police anti-robbery squad attached to him, at the weekend foiled a robbery operation in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital and recovered a car and locally made pistols.
According to him, the robbery suspects all escaped and abandoned the car suspected to have been stolen from Lagos.
Ali Kwara told newsmen that he was tipped off by his informants that a robbery operation was about to be carried out, so he and his team acted.
He said there is an agreement between him and the state government to stamp out robbery, adding that they are ready to respond to calls anytime they are called upon.
