The authorities of the Nigerian Air Force have announced the promotion of senior officers of the service.
A statement by Commodore D.J Alonge on behalf of the Air Force Director of Information, Commodore Yusuf Anas, on Wednesday stated that 107 officers were promoted.
Alonge said those affected in the major promotion exercise are 15 Air Vice Marshals, 39 Air Commodores, 31 Group Captains and 22 Wing Commanders.
According to him, those promoted from Air Commodore to Air Vice Marshal are Air Vice Marshals Elam Nzokala, Christopher Gudi, Suleiman Dambo, Victor Udoh, Chukwuma Mojekwu, and Emmanuel Akogu,
Others are Air Vice Marshals Eche Agwungwu, Muhammadu Muhammed, Uko Ebong, Ibrahim Umaru, Benjamin Nweze, Sani Ahmed, Rufus Ojuawo, Lawal Alao, and Stephen Onuh.
“The Nigerian Air Force has released the promotion of 107 senior officers. The senior officers affected are 15 Air Vice Marshals, 39 Air Commodores, 31 Group Captains and 22 Wing Commanders,” the statement read.
Those promoted from Group Captian to Air Commodore are Air Commodores Oluwole Akinsanya, Isiaka Amao, Ayuba Lassa, Christopher Umolu, Abdulganiyu Olabisi, Air Commodore Danladi Bausa, Ibukun Ojeyemi, Remigius Ekeh, and Christopher Dola
