Saharareporters can confirm that the wife and daughter of Nigerian Supreme Court Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour have been freed by their kidnappers. The two were abducted on Friday, May 10, 2013 by unknown gunmen on their way to the Edo state capital, Benin.
There is no information on whether a ransom was paid to secure their release.
Kidnapping is rampant in the Southern part of Nigeria.
